Wednesday Feb 15, 2023
Wednesday Feb 15, 2023
Are you feeling the pressure of trying to get it all done? Many of us in midlife feel overwhelmed and burned out from trying to balance our work and personal lives. In this episode we’ll be discussing how to slow down in order to speed up, and get off the hamster wheel of life.
Joining me is my friend Denise Millet, a Marketing Technology Specialist and host of the weekly show “Marketing Matters”.
She’ll be sharing how she learned the hard way that grinding and not getting enough rest was actually making her sick. She ignored the signs until she couldn’t anymore.
After taking a year to recover, she now runs her own business on her own terms helping entrepreneurs and business owners make sure their websites, blogs, and podcasts are findable on search engines.
Join us to hear Denise share her inspiring story and how she is now able to make her work fit her lifestyle now rather than the other way around.

EP 122: A 76 Year Old Fashion Model on a Mission with Carolyn Doelling
Wednesday Dec 14, 2022
Wednesday Dec 14, 2022
Carolyn Doelling started modeling at the age of 70. After retiring from her corporate career she realized that people’s perception of her had changed. She felt like she was being written off. She started embracing more color and style in her wardrobe in order to combat the invisibility of being an older woman and found herself on a mission. She is now 76 years old and through her work as a fashion model, she encourages women to embrace their style, grace and power at any age. She is also a kick-boxer, speaker and a writer. Her goal is to have a direct positive impact on the general perceptions of aging and to dismantle the beauty standards presented in the fashion industry and advertising today.
