Dominic is an Army Veteran who was forced to retire early at the age of 22 due to health conditions. While early retirement was a setback, it also led him to where he is today. He is the creator, host and producer of the Black is America Podcast, which highlights little-known African-American figures and stories. He also produces two other podcasts for Meadows Behavioral Healthcare.
Dominic's journey shows us that sometimes the events that we initially perceive to have blown us off course end up leading us to right where we need to be. Now that he’s 40 years old, Dominic has discovered that storytelling through the medium of podcasting is exactly what makes him feel happy, confident, and fulfilled
