Kimberly Coleman is someone who recognizes that she has participated in her own miracles. Her Christian faith is a lynchpin for her, she sees God’s work in her life everywhere, but she also sees that she is a powerful force in that equation, that her actions deliver results, that her actions have delivered her through some difficult times. Even if you aren’t a “believer”, I contend that you have the power to participate in your own miracles, that you are already participating in miracles and maybe you just need to start noticing your power.

Wednesday Sep 15, 2021
Wednesday Sep 15, 2021
Cat Corchado joined the Air Force as a young, single mother and served a full 20 years. She retired when she was 42 years old and found herself unprepared for the transition to civilian life. She found that her 20 years of military project management experience did not translate to getting hired for a comparable civilian position. She ended up becoming a personal trainer and a Pilates instructor in her 40s. She's 64 now and still teaching Pilates, but that's just part of her story. Cat found that she was missing the connection to other military women, so she began working with the Women’s Veteran Network which is a nationwide network of peer support groups specifically for Women Veterans. A little over a year ago, Cat saw a need to be able to reach more women veterans with information and inspiration, so at the age of 63 she decided to launch a podcast called Sisters in Service where she helps other women veterans make the transition from military to civilian life.
