Jeremy Grater and Zach Tucker are co-hosts of The Fit Mess podcast. Both Jeremy and Zach have experienced a major shift in the way they deal with their physical, mental and emotional health. They have since pushed themselves to learn more about how to get and stay healthy in mind, body and spirit. Their personal journeys inspired in them a passion for using their hard earned knowledge to help others via their podcast where they have had the opportunity to speak to a wide range of guests, including some of the biggest names in health and wellness. Later in our conversation, we dive into talking about the concept of midlife and the fear of aging. When you’re in your 30s or early 40s it can feel like this looming thing. But it doesn’t have to be…

EP 126: Are You Lost or Are You Finding Your Way? with Beth Keil
Wednesday Jan 11, 2023
Wednesday Jan 11, 2023
My guest Beth Kiel says she moved to Tucson at the age of 56 to be sandblasted (although she didn’t know that at the time.) What she means is she’d lost all her comfortable reference points. The process of feeling lost and then finding our way is actually a great way to truly learn something about ourselves. Beth is an RN and board certified Hypnotist. She loves the process of helping others find themselves and she is a woman who embraces the growth that comes with change.

New Year Replay
Reinvention: It’s not about changing yourself… It’s about changing how you think about yourself.
You are already amazing! You are already powerful beyond your imagination. If you set your intentions every day you will be amazed at what starts to happen. Your brain will go to work for you. You will start to find evidence for your “shiny new thoughts” which will reinforce them and give you energy and motivation to take new action… to try something different… to try something new.

It's a very special holiday episode! Take a peek behind the scenes with me and the other women in the business mastermind I joined in January of this year. I joined as I was preparing to host the Midlife Uprising Summit thinking I could use a sounding board as I made my plans. What I found was a community of women who continue to inspire me everyday. Our group is led by Kim White of My Sexy Business and Kerry Zarb of Zinc Business Solutions. It includes Cat Corchado, Donna Bender and Denise Millet. I can't wait for you to meet this fabulous crew of midlife women entrepreneurs who are all fired up!

EP 122: A 76 Year Old Fashion Model on a Mission with Carolyn Doelling
Wednesday Dec 14, 2022
Wednesday Dec 14, 2022
Carolyn Doelling started modeling at the age of 70. After retiring from her corporate career she realized that people’s perception of her had changed. She felt like she was being written off. She started embracing more color and style in her wardrobe in order to combat the invisibility of being an older woman and found herself on a mission. She is now 76 years old and through her work as a fashion model, she encourages women to embrace their style, grace and power at any age. She is also a kick-boxer, speaker and a writer. Her goal is to have a direct positive impact on the general perceptions of aging and to dismantle the beauty standards presented in the fashion industry and advertising today.

EP 121: Well, Hey There Darlin! with Carmen Quintanilla Gollihar
Wednesday Dec 07, 2022
Wednesday Dec 07, 2022
We are going back in time to that golden era called the 1980s with Carmen Quintanilla Gollihar. She is the Video Creator of the Small Town Drama Series which is the first ever social media soap opera series with over a million followers on TikTok. In this series, she wears ridiculous wigs and hilariously plays ALL the characters based in the small town of her youth. She also creates a variety of other 80’s and 90’s nostalgia skits. Carmen wasn’t always a video creator. First of all… she’s a wife and a mom to 5 kids and before she started creating videos she was a teacher and a librarian in the Texas school system with latent dreams of becoming an actress. Stick around to the end of the episode for some super silliness!

EP 120: Integrity Means Wholeness with Dr. Susan Corso
Wednesday Nov 30, 2022
Wednesday Nov 30, 2022
This week’s episode is about healing through surrender. Sometimes we have to surrender our ideas of how we think our life should play out in order to heal and live with purpose. After a terrible loss and a journey through grief, my guest today found her own path to healing and purpose. Dr. Susan Corso is a metaphysician, an intuitive, and an author of both fiction and nonfiction. She has had a spiritual consulting practice for over 40 years. Her latest nonfiction books are eight Energy Integrity workbooks; they teach applied, practical knowledge of how your chakras reflect your past, how your chakras can be changed in the present, and how to use your own human energy system to create your future.

EP 119: Who’s Coming to Thanksgiving Dinner?
Wednesday Nov 23, 2022
Wednesday Nov 23, 2022
Which version of you is showing up to Thanksgiving Dinner? Do you act differently when you’re at work versus when you're going out with friends? Who are you when you're at home doing chores with family versus volunteering with your local charity? This kind of code switching takes up a lot of energy. Frankly, it’s exhausting. What is it costing you? After a lifetime of it, do you feel ready to shed those multiple personalities and just show up as yourself?
